Punda is also home to the island's most famous markets, such as the Floating Market, where Venezuelan vendors sell fruit and vegetables. For freshly caught fish, do like the locals and pay an early visit to the Round Market, which also houses a large collection of beauty products, souvenirs, and produce.
Otrobanda, the western part, offers many more shopping opportunities, from the high-end fashion shops at the Renaissance Mall, to the souvenir shops ar the Rif Fort. Also visit the always busy Breedestraat, which has been a prime shopping area for over two centuries.
